Health & Social Care Level 2 & 3

This qualification is aimed at learners working in a health and social care role (for those wishing to gaining employment in to a health and social care role. On completion of this qualification learners will be able to demonstrate they have the skills and knowledge in order to carry out their role to a professional standard.

To complete the HABC Level 2 & 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Adults) for England (QCF) learner should expect to undertake between 315 and 450 hours of learning. Depending upon unit choice and level and Achieve a minimum of 46 credits (level 2) and 58 credits (level 3).

Any health and social care worker who is mainly working under supervision or anyone who wants to start a career in Care. If you’re already working in care, this can assist you to increase your skills and knowledge and take on more responsibility (Level 3 learners will have more responsibility and may be employed as supervisors or managers); this is an excellent qualification to support this career progression. It has three specific pathway routes; Generic, Learning Disabilities or Dementia.

The qualification is approved for delivery to learners aged 16+ years. It is also recommended that learners have a minimum of Level 1 in literacy or numeracy or equivalent (Level 3 learner’s advisable to have a Level 2 in literacy or numeracy or both.
