The aim of the Business Administration Qualifications is to provide essential skills such as working and improving performance within a business environment to your staff. The qualification aims to develop skills of your employees, which will have a better impact on your office support. The qualification will help your employees to manage their workload, solve problems, handle information and use the appropriate communication methods within a business environment.

The level 2 qualification in Business administration is aimed at learners working within a business and administration role who wish to improve their knowledge and skills in a variety of work environments and sectors.

The level 3 qualification in Business administration is aimed at learners in a senior business administration role. It aims to develop learners’ knowledge and understanding across a range of administrative practices and tasks, e.g. managing information.

People in a wide range of office¬‐based roles whether new to the business administration role or those who want to enhance their existing skills further and achieve career progression. The qualifications are designed to cater for the wide range and diversity of job roles where competence in business administration is vital.

The qualification is approved for delivery to learners aged 16+ years. It is also recommended that learners have a minimum of Level 1 in literacy or numeracy or equivalent (Level 3 learner’s advisable to have a Level 2 in literacy or numeracy or both.
